Exiled Students:
Understanding their Needs and Constraints

This report explores the real needs, expectations, and challenges faced by students in exile, based on survey data and in-depth interviews conducted across European higher education institutions.

It provides evidence-based insights into the barriers these students encounter — from financial and administrative difficulties to social isolation and language barriers — and highlights the types of support that make the greatest difference in their academic experience.
